UK Merch Set

Twin Tribes was looking to create a preliminary merch set for their European store opening. The goal of the designs was to depict scenes that were reflective of their music as well as show hints of beauty amongst the macabre. By creating scenes amongst the designs, the hope was to create something with symbolism that could be interpreted in many ways to assist with assigning differing meaning to their various types of listeners.

Short Sleeve Shirt

The first item created was a short sleeve shirt with a design of a group of angels being held down by a snake while the angels are seen looking up towards rays of light that signal divinity. The scene is encased in a heart-shape depicted through thorny roses. The design sits on a black shirt with the primary scene and band logo in white, while the rest is depicted in a crimson red color.

Long Sleeve Shirt

The second item for release on their UK store is a long sleeve shirt design. The primary front graphic shows a skull and group of roses appear to grow from the skull. The elements appear to be encased in an old tomb-like box. The band name is seen as being loosely part of the tomb. The sleeves are decorated with a sword - each one different in orientation and with a different floral element.

02 | 2022 Winter Tour

For the Winter of 2022, Twin Tribes was looking for a full tour flyer, tour t-shirt, as well as an individual flyer for their LA show. For a vibe, think of an end of the world party lavish ball with gaudy gothic cathedrals and beautiful flora. For the primary flyer, the content is encased around a decorative gothic frame where the band and tour information is housed at the very top. In the middle is where you can find the specific tour dates as well as a scene of an entity dancing while transfixed in the air with birds following it as it floats downward. Towards the bottom is a designated area for touring bands. This particular design was created for print at 11x17 as well as digital platforms like Instagram. A set of templates was also created for venues and vendors.

Full Tour Flyer & Graphics

Los Angeles Show Flyer

The Los Angeles tour flyer depicts the duality between natural elements such as the goat and vines and how it sits above the mechanical clock. The clock almost riffs off of the vines above it through the details that hangs off of the face. Another detail worth pointing out about this graphical set is how lush and full of life everything is - right now - the clock almost sets itself as a reminder that it won't be like this forever. The lettering of Twin Tribes and 2022 Tour sets a frame around the information and acts as a nice flowing point to the supporting bands below. Sandwiched between the supporting band information are decorative dividers with little skulls in the center - another reminder of mortality.
